3 continents in 3 days

So I haven't posted anything forever, it has been a crazy couple of weeks. The week before we left for Egypt was the craziest!!! Ryan and Aaron came for a visit. Ryan was coming to Egypt with us, and had a week here in Germany before our trip. Aaron came with him for the Europe part. The day they arrived they took off with Simon to Italy for the weekend for a Juventus soccer game. When they returned Auburn and I played tour guides here in Munich. They took off for the rest of week. I think they ended up hitting eleven different countires. That same week the day after they took off Simon had a last minute business trip to Athens. He got home the day before our trip. On Friday we left for Egypt (which I'll post about after I have gone through all of our pictures). We returned home on the 16th and Simon had to leave for another business trip to Taiwan the following morning. His work schedule is usually not like this, but hey, he did hit 3 continents in 3 days.

Mexico - Mayan ruins II

Simon's parents had to get back to their mission in Mexico City and we continued on our trip. We saw a lot of ruins, 9 in total. This is the next post of Mayan ruins. It was actually great for the kids as well. They could run around, climb and explore. It was interesting to see the differences at each sight. The kids had their favorites by the end of the trip. We also taught them a little bit about Mayan culture. Edzna These well preserved carvings were great. Palanque These were probably my favorite ruins. It is set in the jungle and it felt very peaceful there. It is hard to believe that only 10 percent of the structures are actually uncovered. Sienna Corinne

Sienna Corinne was born at 8:02 am at the Rotkreuzklinikum in Munich. She weighed 3.7 kilos and was 52 cm long. She is incredibly sweet and a very peaceful baby. Auburn and Conley are in love with her. She has been smothered with kisses by them and everyone in the family wants to snuggle with her.
