Oktoberfest

Today is the first day of Oktoberfest. The last time that I was there I was nine months pregnant with Auburn. She was born the next day. Since we are not going to be in town for the majority of the festival we decided to head downtown. Simon got me a dirndl for Christmas and I had to wear it. Auburn and Conley are both wearing traditional clothes as well, although Conley is missing the lederhosen. We were all dressed up except Simon. He decided to sport a BYU shirt in support of the Cougs for tonight. I feel weird that the big game is this early, but Happy Oktoberfest and Go Cougars!

Conley is eating a cracker. It was the only way we could get him to look inthe right direction.

These are the famous cookies that people wear around their necks during Oktoberfest. They are also pretty popular at Christmas.

They were so distracted about what was going on that they were not very interested in taking pictures. This one they are at least looking in the right direction.

We found out last past week that we are expecting .... a baby boy! We are super excited! I had a feeling ever since we found out that I was pregnant that would be having a boy. Auburn came to the ultrasound with us and repeatedly said "baby" while we looked at the screen. We are excited for her to have a little brother. We just need to start thinking of baby boy names ....

Happy Half-Birthday Auburn!

Today I am 6 months old. Mommy says that I am growing up way too fast! I weigh 7.55 kilos and I am 65.5 centimeters long. I can roll over both ways now. I can sit up for a little bit without help, but I still fall over sometimes. I put everything in my mouth. I just want to see how it tastes. I am trying a lot of new food, but my favorite is still milk! I like to go for walks, play with my toys and rock out with Daddy. I like to smile and laugh. A very nice lady in our ward my this dress for me. It is a traditional Bavarian dress called a dirndl. Don't I look pretty? Well, I have to get back to playing. Cheers!
