Conley - 23 months

Conley is almost two.  I have been meaning to put an update on him forever but we have been kind of busy and not here.  Here is an update on him.  We are looking forward to celebrating his 2nd birthday in two weeks!

He will eat just about anything.
He loves cars, train, planes and anything else that moves.
His favorite song is "Jaded' by Aerosmith.  I am not kidding.  He can even sing part of the chorus all by himself.
He will share just about everything if you ask nicely.
He invented a new game where he gives everyone chocolate.
He repeats everything we say and speaks in 4-5 word sentences.
He eats with his right hand, but kicks with his left foot.
He plays drums on everything.
He tells me "no like it" when he doesn't want to do something.
He knows his colors.
He will still snuggle with us sometimes.
His best friend is Auburn, they do everything together.
He doesn't walk, he runs everywhere.
When he thinks a prayer is too long he will say Amen repeatedly especially at church.
His prayer before we eat is Father, food, bless it, amen.
He loves riding his bike.

Mexico - Mayan ruins II

Simon's parents had to get back to their mission in Mexico City and we continued on our trip.  We saw a lot of ruins, 9 in total.  This is the next post of Mayan ruins.  It was actually great for the kids as well.  They could run around, climb and explore. It was interesting to see the differences at each sight.  The kids had their favorites by the end of the trip.  We also taught them a little bit about Mayan culture. Edzna   These well preserved carvings were great.       Palanque These were probably my favorite ruins.  It is set in the jungle and it felt very peaceful there. It is hard to believe that only 10 percent of the structures are actually uncovered.  The rest are still covered by the jungle. some well preserved carvings waterfalls in the middle of the ruins The Palace   Temple of Inscription   The kids had a great time climbing up and exploring...

Sienna Corinne

Sienna Corinne was born at 8:02 am at the Rotkreuzklinikum in Munich.   She weighed 3.7 kilos and was 52 cm long.  She is incredibly sweet and a very peaceful baby.  Auburn and Conley are in love with her. She has been smothered with kisses by them and everyone in the family wants to snuggle with her.
